Particle Astrophysics

Site has information on atomic particles related to Astrophysics. The worlds largest underground Cherenkov neutrino detector at Kamioka. The Super-K site in Japan particle detection beam was restarted in 2002 after the Super-K reconstruction was finished successfully, and it is the starting of SK-II data gathering.

Collaboration between the Harvard and Smithsonian observatories studies the nature and evolution of the universe. Information on the Milky Way spiral galaxy that we live in which is a disk-shaped collection of about 400 billion stars including the Sun. Many of those stars and much of the dense gas between the stars concentrate into large arms that spread outward from the galactic center.
